Mac Users

Step 1: Download "user.js" file to computer.
  1. Hold down the Control key and click user.js link.
  2. Select "Save Link As..."
  3. Save user.js file onto the desktop.
  4. You should now see a "user.js" file on your desktop.

Step 2: Place "user.js" into the default folder.
  1. Close all Firefox browsers.
  2. Please follow the path below and select the default folder.

    SELECTING THE DESTINATION (DEFAULT) FOLDER

    On Mac OS X, the path is usually
    Hard drive/Users/your account/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/default/(PLACE FILE HERE)

  3. Place the "user.js" file into the default folder.

Step 3: Check to see if the problem is fixed.
  1. Close all Firefox browsers.
  2. Launch Mozilla Firefox.
  3. Log into the course and scroll to the bottom of the page.
  4. On the blue Control Panel, click Detailed Index.
  5. Check the page you are having problems with.
