The system keeps track of activity in the course. If there is no activity for long a period of time, the system will automatically log you off which can cause your work to be lost when you click Submit.

We highly recommend you type and save your written assignment using a word processing program (e.g. Notepad, Microsoft Word, or WordPerfect). When you are done typing, log into the course, go to the written assignment that you wish to submit, and cut and paste your answer from the text document you created with your word processing program. That way, you won't lose your connection while you type your written assignment.
